I was actually planning on writing a hate-on about Islamophobes and probably will at some point in the future. I just wanted to do my research properly first so I could be as informed as possible when I did. ...however, on the drive into town today...I heard this little gem on the radio.
I am so UTTERLY FUCKING disgusted I cannot stand it. ...I don't have the words.
I also heard on the news today that one in five Americans believe that President Obama is a Muslim - one of the people reporting this (I believe on the ABC (Australian version, yo)) pointed out something almost no one ever does. ...people defend this by saying that Obama is a "devout Christian" and not by asking why the FUCK it would matter if he WAS a Muslim.
